Inline PrintChecker is a system to be built into the existing folding carton machine for operational quality control and defect detection of printed carton blanks according to the approved sample, including printing defects, material surface defects and die-cutting errors. Defective blanks are ejected from the flow, defect information is recorded in a database and reports are generated automatically. Inline PrintChecker avoids the situation of mixed batches (image, shape), controls colour gamut, smudges, different types of codes, problems with colour application — tonal variation, etc.
The Inline PrintChecker section is installed after the self-feeder of the folding — gluing machine, the vacuum belt passes the blank through the section, the EyeC camera at the bottom carries out the inspection, cardboard blanks that do not match the reference are ejected from the flow by the ejector system.
